John Badley, philosophy and religion freshman, sets the ball to teammate Carmon Bliss, elementary education junior, while teammates Madison Lumm, elementary education senior, Joshua Davidson, philosophy and religion junior, a visitor from Independence and Megan Martin, biochemistry sophomore, get ready in case something goes awry. The team played in the sand volleyball courts east of the football practice field.
