The track team will prepare this week for a meet at Tabor April 16 and KU April 17 through 19.
The Wichita Track meet was canceled due to weather and rescheduled for April 13.
Jim Helmer, head men's track coach, said, "We chose not to go on Sunday because we have two meets scheduled this week, and if we had competed on Sunday at WSU, Wednesday at Tabor, and Thursday through Saturday at the KU Relays, it would be too much competition in too short a time." be too much competition in too short a time."
The majority of the team will travel to Tabor, but the middle distance and distance will not run until Friday and Saturday at KU.
"We are getting close to the end of the season, and this week we are looking to step up our performances and have our best showing of the outdoor season to this point," said Helmer.
