At their last show the 9 Lives Comedy Troupe gave the audience quite the performance. They were able to complete 15 games in one hour. This beat their previous record that was set last year.
Kyler Chase, theatre arts junior, said, "It was a little crazy, but with the audience's help we survived. I enjoy those shows because there is not a lot of planning and it is improvising at its purest form."
Their next show will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Messenger Hall. It will be a family show. "There will be clean safe humor for mom, dad, and little Timmy," said Chase.
The theme for the show will be Nine Lives Goes Green. Tommy Castor, communication senior, said, "Being environmentally friendly is something that is big news on a lot of people's minds today and we just wanted to take that and turn it into a theme for the show. It really is big news here at Southwestern with the new green team forming and we just thought it would be fun and helpful to incorporate that into our family show.
"I think people can expect us to not only play some great improv games, but also a few hilarious sketches all in the overarching theme of Going Green."
