David Gardner, assistant professor of music at Southwestern College, has been invited to conduct honor choirs in Wichita and Tennessee. He will first conduct the All-City Honor Choir in Wichita at 7 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the Century Two Concert Hall, and will then conduct the Honors Music Festival Concert at 4 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Southern Advent University in Collegedale, Tenn. The Wichita concert will feature around 100 high school choir students from high schools in Wichita. "I was happy to receive that invitation, to get a chance to work with the top vocalists in Wichita," Gardner said. The Honors Music Festival Concert in Tennessee caps off the four-day Honors Music Festival and around 175 students from the states in the Southern Union of Seventh-day Adventists are expected to attend.
