Health week consisted of mental health screenings Monday for depression, eating disorders, alcohol and drug abuse, and stress. On Nov. 7 nursing students conducted nutritional screenings. The screenings included body mass index, cholesterol, blood pressure, and skin cancer. Today Susan Bumsted, former professor, was the keynote speaker in Pounds Lounge from 12 to 1 p.m. A health and career fair took place from 1 to 4 p.m. in the library. On Friday, Intersanctum will finish off health week at Crossroads Community Church. The last health week took place two years ago. Student Life, Campus Life, and the nursing department have been working together since the summer to plan the event.
