The Lady Builders will host the University of Saint Mary Oct.6 and McPherson College Oct 10.
Last night the Lady Builders played Tabor College. Results for this game weren't available at press time.
The Lady Builders were 5-6 overall and 1-2 in conference before last night's scheduled game.
After losing to Kansas Wesleyan University the week before, the Lady Builders regrouped in great fashion with a 2-0 win over Sterling College Sept. 26. The goals in the Sterling game were scored by Phylicia Allen, junior mid-fielder and foward, and Stacy Harkness, freshman forward.
After the loss to Kansas Wesleyan the Lady Builders worked on some basics.
Katie Timmer, junior forward, said, "We improved greatly. Our communication picked up and our intensity was tremendous. I think we played good, but there are mistakes that still need to be fixed."
The Lady Builders played Bethany College on Sept. 29 but were unsuccessful losing 2-0. Joe Wood, head coach, said, "We played with a lot of effort. We just unfortunately didn't win the game. There are a lot of things we still need to fix. We just need to work harder in practice to get them fixed."
The Lady Builders still have many conference games left to play. Eva Sanders, junior midfielder, said, "I think we will do well in our remaining conference games. Our team is getting better and better and we are determined to be successful."
