To say that football players wouldn't throw away all of their hard work for a moment of stupidity or indecision is wrong. Look at politicians who through careers away for one relationship, one drug, one thing or another. College students, as I'm sure you know are immature. They don't think before they act. And many times make decisions that later on in life, they regret. I admire that you think the Builder football team works hard. I'm sure they do. But it's one thing to work hard. It's another to work smart. Now, I know Paige, and I know that she is a writer who only writes about things that she knows is true. You have obviously had some journalistic mistrust in the past. This writer is writing about facts. And just because you haven't been privy to what Paige has seen and heard, doesn't mean that you have to negate the whole article. Let me put it this way. If the football team had integrity and didn't go out and make foolish decisions, there would have never been a reason for this article to be written. But the fact that it has, it should raise some eyebrows, and cause some concern. Opinions are like buttholes. Everyone's got them and most of them stink. But where there's smoke, there's fire. And I think people are missing the entire point of the article by not going straight to the source and investigation to see if there is in fact an issue. Again, I say...no smoke, no fire, no article.
